Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a journey of release from our habitual ways of contracting and tensing.  Restorative Yoga utilizes props, such as bolsters, blocks and blankets, to support the body in a way that there's no muscular effort needed to stay in a pose, leading to a state of physiological relaxation and a sense of well-being.  When tensions leave the body, it has a ripple effect on our breath and our mind, and balance is re-established in our whole being.  In restorative yoga, we learn the life skill of letting go.
