Practice Reveals has progressive stages (read more about Practice Reveals).  Stage 1B will be offered in a residential retreat setting - at the tranquil Won Dharma Center, only 2 hours from NYC, yet set on serene, rural 426 acres surrounded by wooded foothills and overlooking the Catskills Mountains.  This 4-day retreat is open only to those who have completed Stage 1A. 

 

The value of residential study is to immerse in practice and study removed from our daily distractions and obligations, so we can direct our energy into practice, learning, and reflection.  Moreover, we will be removed from urban cacophony and surrounded by nature in a dedicated space where the energy over time has been devoted to growth and spiritual practices.

9:00 am – 12:00 pm:  Lecture & Morning Practice

12:00 pm – 1:00 pm:  Lunch
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm:  Afternoon Practice
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm:  Dinner
7:30 pm - 8:30 pm:  Lecture and Q&A

Thursday:

5:30 am - 7:00 am:  Optional Won Meditation
7:30 am – 8:15 am:  Breakfast

9:00 am – 11:00 pm:  Lecture & Morning Practice

11:00 am - 12:00 am:  Pack & Checkout
12:15 pm - 1:00 pm:  Lunch

 

Price:  $400 for tuition ($350 if repeating 1B) PLUS room and board for 3 nights (including all meals):

2 hour train ride to Hudson on Amtrak, then 10 minute cab ride; possibility of carpool; explore the hip town of Hudson before and/or after the retreat.
