"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." ~ Unknown

After a decade of teaching drop-in classes, my teaching focus has shifted to a series-based format.  This offers individuals a systematic and progressive understanding on which to cultivate a personal practice, which is essential to maturing one's skills as a yoga practitioner.  While drop-in classes help us to maintain a healthy body, reduce our stress levels, and feel good generally, they don't necessarily give us the tools and a theoretical understanding necessary for becoming a self-directed practitioner.  It takes a dedicated progressive stages of practice to begin to safely tap into the subtler aspects of yoga that are lesser known, yet still very relevant to today's practitioner.

My series-based courses are taught in a progressive learning format in successive stages in the Shadow Yoga methodology.  I also offer specialty workshops and destination retreats.
