Tools of Sadhana:
Progressive Application of Karana and Asana within Full Practice Format

January to December 2026

The tools of a Full Practice Format consisting of Warmup, Karana (meditative standing activity), Asana (seated postures), Mantra (internal resonance) and Conclusion will be introduced and developed in a systematic and layered way through a series of workshops and guided classes in 2026.

Teachings will be built up progressively from workshop to workshop, with refinement and nuance layered in from class to class. Modifications will be given and each individual supported to work within one's limit. This allows for cultivation of sensitivity, self-trust and understanding necessary for becoming a skillful self-directed practitioner who can intuitively respond to the needs of the moment within one's capacity.

The 2026 curriculum is open to all with a sincere desire to learn and a willingness to take on a greater commitment beyond drop-in classes. The first Intro Session in January and subsequent Workshops are required to participate in the weekly guided classes. While weekly classes are optional, they serve to refine kinesthetic memory, layer in nuance, and deepen one's understanding.
